Glitz 'n Glam

Who among us doesn't like jewelry? How about hanging out with friends wearing those beautiful, glamorous pieces of jewelry that make you stand out from the crowd? I believed everyone wants to be trendy, stylish but yet elegant.

Jewelry has been making all on its own on the fashion week runways.

Jewelry trends are playful and more confusing than clothing trends. It seems like one day, everyone is wearing barely their strands of delicate gold, and the next, we are hit with something much bigger.

From king-sized rings to statement punk earrings and layers of monogram necklaces, these are few of my favorite jewelry looks spotted on the streets. Check this out!

Oversize clustered crystals, colored stones, and chunky metal are the key pieces to look for if you want to buy into this trend. And to clarify, when we say "costume jewelry" we in no way mean cheap or tasteless looking pieces, instead we simply are referring to the level of glamour that most of us probably aren't used to wearing in our everyday lives. As we temporarily in the transition from delicate jewelry as a major trend, i is time to embrace the outrages yet beautiful pieces we once thought were too loud or informal to wear on a regular basis. This spring, the more the merrier when it comes to the glitz 'n glam of your jewelry choices.

A Bit of Simplicity!

Soul searching is what everyone would do at times when things are rough and complicated. We learned to look for ways to make life simple than making it more complicated. We all just wanted to be happy.

When we are young, everything is so simple and easy, right? I know sometimes it seems that way. But the truth is life is easy. It always will be. The only difference is we're older, and the older we get, the more we complicate things for ourselves.

Maybe, if you will remember, when we were young we saw the world through simple and hopeful eyes, we knew what we wanted. We ate when we were hungry, drank when we were thirsty, and slept when we were tired. As we grew older, our minds became gradually corrupt and disillusioned by negative influences, at some point we hesitate and question our instincts. When problems get complicated, we stumbled and fell down, this happened several times, and eventually, we decided we didn't want to fall again, but rather than solving the problem that caused us to fall, we avoided it all together.

With all these factors, we ate comfort food and drank alcohol to numb our wounds and fill our voids. We worked late nights on purpose to avoid unresolved conflicts. We started holding grudges, playing mind games, and slowly deceiving others and ourselves to get ahead, and when didn't work out, we lived above our means, buying things we don't need, ate and drank some more to make oneself feel better again. Over the course of time, we made our lives more and more difficult and started losing touch with who we really are and what we really need.

So why not get back to the basics, let's make things simple again:

1. Live below your means. Buy stuff you only need. Created a budget and savings plan and stick to both of them.
2. Get enough sleep every night. An exhausted mind is rarely productive.
3. Don't try to read other people's minds and don't try to make other people read yours. Try to communicate clearly.
4. Be polite, but don't try to be friends with everyone around you. Instead, spend time nurturing your relationships with the people who matter most to you.
5. Your health is your life, keep up with it. Get an annual physical check-up
6. Don't waste your time on jealousy. The only person you are competing against is yourself.
7. Ask someone if you don't know or aren't sure.
8. Don't try to please everyone. Just do what you know is right.
9. Be sure to pay your bills on time.
10. Always be honest with yourself and others.
11. Say "I Love You" to our loved ones as often as possible.
12. Finish one project before you start another
13. Be yourself
14. Stay out of other people's drama, and don't needlessly create your own.
15. Buy things with cash.
16. Smile often, even to complete strangers.
17. If you hate doing it, stop hating it.
18. Treat everyone with the same level of respect.
19. Apologize when you should.
20. Be curious, don't be scared to learn something new.
21. Don't be shy, network with people.
22. Don't worry too much about what other people think about you.
23. Let go things you can't change, concentrate on things you can.
24. Set priorities for yourself and act accordingly.
25. Realize that the harder you work, the luckier you will become.
26. Follow your heart. Don't waste your life fulfilling someone else's dreams and desires.
27. Build something or do something that makes you proud.
28. Realize that you're never quite right as you think you are.
29. Make mistakes, learn from them, laugh about them, and move along.
30. However good or bad a situation is now, it will change. Accept this simple fact.

Enjoy Life's Simple Pleasures. They are free and better than anything money can buy. Life is not that much complex. We are complex!

The Amazing Hug Chair Design!

Today, I was busy looking for new ideas on what to write and came across to this unique design that I find interesting.

Sometimes, for lovers out there, your special someone tends to sit in your lap, and take note, your partner won't be able to handle you for more than 15 minutes. In order to keep the feeling of being close this chair would be perfect.

The hug chair brings simple design and human gesture together for that extra time you want to sit with your significant other.

Designer: Ilian Milinov

When you are away from your special someone, the extra seat doubles as a convenient space, perfect for catching up on a video chat.

This chair somewhat resembles the modern school desks that we have today. Definitely, it has many more uses than just for two lovers cuddling!

Who What Wear Glamorous?

Being glamorous is always a wish I could, and be able to show in public, but I guess I am just a very basic individual who just always happy with a pair of jeans and T-shirts with a few of accessories.
But get me wrong, I love seeing that glamorous individual on the street showing off their choice of fashion.

Here are some of the most glamorous street style photos I found and sharing it with you. Have fun!

Lately, we have had the itch to add a little more glamour to our daily lives. We thought we'd satisfy our craving with those of dramatic, shamelessly girly street style. WHO WHAT WEAR!

The Day of Being Alone

For the past few days, I was just so lazy but yet still figuring out what to do with my website that I just started. I’ve been doing also a lot of reading on Reddit and stumbling on StumbleUpon, and I realized that they are indeed talking to me. Yesterday, they told me that I should start to write, could be short or long at least 12 questions to review every week to help me feel better about my life and keep track of my objectives as well as keep things in perspective.

So, here I am. I have to keep myself honest, and be more committed to writing things out, grapple with my thoughts, frustrations and feelings and really work to be better and happier, even things are even out of the way to close to where I want to them to be.

I am numbering these and contemplate when there is a lot to contemplate on.

1. What did I learn last week? I learned that I need to be more clear in my communications. Jobs are done well, fewer complications and more effective if communicated clearly.

2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week? I was able to request the total refund and refund granted for the cancelled trip to Hong Kong for personal reasons.

3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? My beloved partner's birthday even he is miles far.

4. What are the things I need to accomplish this week?
  • Apply for this VIP kid, Chinese online education job waiting for me in my inbox
  • Finish up on the things I forgot to do for my website
  • Continue bogging my partner to change place
5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? Probably going to knock out the above after taking my breakfast.

6. What was last week's biggest time sink? Being clear when communicating and getting frustrated easily

7. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? Yes, I am normally thinking things I should do in order to progress but forget to get them done.
8. How can I help someone else this coming week? I am not sure, but for sure there will be an opportunity

9. What are my fears? Staying stagnant and what makes it most fearful is that fact that I only have done a little for my website.

10. What I am most grateful for? Things in my life are much easier than I give it a credit for. Just because I am not at the peak of where I want to be doesn't mean things are bad.

11. Is there anyone that deserves a big "Thank You"? Him, Almighty above, my family and Juvenal.

12. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? With those who have been good to me, who loved me and accepted me for who I am.

Actually, in all seriousness, I feel pretty good today. And this counts as my writing for the day! Hooray!

Few Things Women should/must have...

Finding the right wardrobe and accessories is not easy, especially for women, we are quite complicated and choosy...

But having just a few and the essentials will definitely make one's life simpler.

Here are the few things suggested:

1. Tailored Black Blazer
Classic and feminine and looks great to all body types. Make sure to find one that fits you well and accentuates your waist and not swallowing you.

2. Leopard Print Scarf
Accessories like printed scarf will definitely complete your look.
3. Red Flat shoes
Red flats provide a pop of color and work for every season.
4. Striped Shirt
It looks great paired with brights or prints or peeking out from underneath a blazer.
5. Statement Necklace
The statement necklace can make a simple outfit look strong and feminine.

6. Black Dress
Every woman should have a black dress, it is important to invest one that is special. Look for a dress with interesting details. Finding the right fit is very important.

7. Black Opaque Tights
A pair of tights can make your legs look slimmer and help you get away with wearing a dress that is a little short. Double them up for a more opaque look to keep you warm in the winter.

8. Oversize Watch
A watch is as much an accessory as it is a timepiece. Try leaving it loose so it looks like a bracelet.

9. Classic Trench Coat
It is an investment - you'll wear it even if you fluctuate in size. Look for classic A-line silhouette that will cinch you in the waist and wear it over everything from suits to jeans.

10. Jeans
Pair them with platforms or heels to get extra height while keeping the look casual and comfortable.

Maybe these are just a few of the essentials that women should have, definitely it depends on you what the fashion essentials should be included in your closet.
